I am on my trip back home, having spent some marvelous time with my mother. Although she still has, like all of us, “up” days and “down” days, she had amazingly improved!!
I can’t say enough about the heartfelt support of you both and your staff. You have each helped me in very personal ways. In addition, every person I engaged with during my time was selflessly trying to help. From the front desk, the nursing team, maintenance, housekeeping, dining, accounting, PSW’s and so forth. I was truly humbled and inspired to be my own best self as a result. Thank YOU ALL!! You are such a compassionate and loving team. I know Mum “speaks” with me when I say how very lucky she is to be at the Hearthstone!!

Thank you Hearthstone team for providing us with the delicious complimentary BBQ hamburg and ice cream sundae. The hamburg was so satisfying I had no room for desert, which I will enjoy later. And thank you kitchen staff remembering that I order black coffee with my meals. It is these efforts great & small that Hearthstone provides, that makes this place so special. Thank you for all your efforts to keep us safe and involved.

I found our new housekeeper quick, happy and she did her job extremely well. What a good addition to the staff!

What a lovely Thanksgiving Monday dinner last night. The baked ham meal was very nicely done and the crème brulee was really delicious. The best we’ve ever had here. Congratulations on a very successful meal.

Everyone worked so hard to make it a perfect day. The food was fabulous. Everything was perfect. I can't thank you all enough. I will definitely not hesitate to have another function with you.
I loved the turkey dinner especially the new way they did the carrots. It was well cooked.
Birthday Dinner last night was terrific. We were particularly impressed with the buffet table in the centre.

Thank you for a lovely dinner last night. The beef pot roast was especially good and the vegetables a nice mixture. Fruit tray was good, as always, and the strawberries were the best I’ve had for a long time. More of that pot roast, please!

All Hearthstone Staff are hero’s in your own ways and very appreciated for recognizing that we are all (for the most part) independent older adults who need to be treated as such. We are grateful that we have services here that can help us retain our independence as long as possible.
